Qwizee Kids is a learning app for children, operated by the Qwizee team. Accounts are created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what data the app handles. It matches the summary shown inside the app before a parent gives consent.
What we store
- The parent’s email address (for the account)
- The child’s first name, age and grade (to pick the right questions) and a chosen avatar
- Learning progress — quiz scores, coins, streaks, stars and achievements
- If the parent enables multiplayer: friend connections and shared game results (such as chess moves and battle scores)
What we never do
No advertising of any kind. No tracking or profiling of your child. We never sell or share children’s data with third parties, and nothing is used for advertising or marketing purposes.
Movement sensors
The movement features (jumping, marching, Simon Says) read the phone’s motion sensor. Those readings are processed on the device and never leave it — we store only the resulting counts (for example, the number of jumps).
Where data lives
Data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage), which acts as our data processor. We use no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Payments
Optional Qwizee Plus subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store card details — we receive only a confirmation that a subscription is active.
Parents are in control
From the PIN-protected Parent Dashboard a parent can view, correct or delete the child’s data at any time, control multiplayer access, set daily time limits, and delete child profiles. See also Deleting your account.
Children’s privacy
The app is designed for children and complies with applicable children’s privacy law. We collect only what the features above require, always under parental consent, and children cannot make purchases or change safety settings without the parent PIN.
